These are super comfortable and heel hooks are solid with this shoe. Other than that they perform like any other shoe this shape would.
I've been climbing indoors on these for about 2 weeks and they're super solid. I was climbing on Streets before and these are as good (or better). I haven't decided if I like the Zeros or the Streets better yet, but I do love them both. The rubber is awesome and they're super comfortable! Oh - these are pretty small when you start (just like the Streets) and they're not broken in yet, but I assume they'll break in just as nicely. Great shoes!
The New Zero is amazing! The shoes are really comfortable. The materials used and the design implemented make for a sensitive, snug, and outstanding feel through all my climbs.
I´m not going to lie, when i was trying them for the first time the almost did´t fit. Since I live in Ecuador changing them wasn´t an easy option. But with the help of a piece of plastic they slide on super easy and once my feet was in the felt super good! they are the best shoes i´ve try for toe hooking by a mile! and the looks are super kickass! Great product!
So i had the amazing chance of trying these shoes on today and they perform unbelievably well!
First thing i noticed was how naturally my feet fit into these shoes and even when testing on the smallest holds i never felt any pain/uncomfortable issues!
Would love to eventually have my own pair to rep!
Big up! Keep up this amazing work
The synthetic vegan upper fits like a slipper, and the fabric is normally used on the inside of durable work boots in the footwear industry. For a shoe at this level, it is incredibly comfortable. The thread we use for the upper is specially made in the southeast as one of the softest threads in the world, and cannot be felt in the toe box. This shoe is sensitive and every detail matters when performing at a high level.
Dark Matter toe rubber meets the rand by butting up together, with no overlapping. This is incredibly hard to do in production and provides no hot spots.
