- Designed and built on a hand-shaped, downturned last by Fred Nicole, TORQUE LV features a durable and comfortable, unlined vegan microsuede upper with an elastic integrated tongue and pulltab. The shape of the toe is ideal for precise footwork. The rubber is thick enough to feel stable but thin enought to maintain sensitivity. The fishhook midsole is composed of a proprietary pressed fiberboard. The unique single strap velcro closure gives you the freedom to change the direction of tension from ankle to mid-foot area to the base of the forefoot. The outsole is split and features Vibram XS GRIP rubber for durability while including generous toe/heel rubber coverage. The heel rubber extends to the top of the shoe. The unique width of the heel rubber enables this are to have the perfect balance of rigidity for maintaining solid heel hooks while allowing sensitivity and just enough flex. TORQUE LV is ideal for outdoor/indoor bouldering needs - specifically large volume climbing as well as sport climbing and steeper terrain like it's counterpart TORQUE RV.

I’ve brought two pairs of these shoes. These are great for the gym. They were not so comfortable climbing outside for long periods.
Pros:
- easy to break in: I could climb comfortably on my first climb with a new pair of
- variation in Velcro closure position: I can adjust the angle of how the shoe velcros, which has helped me have a super secure heel for overhung heel hooks, but I can also Velcro the show in a more relaxed way
- narrow heel: the heel is narrow, and therefore fits me. Other LV shoes still have gaps in my heel
Cons:
- it felt like the rubber wore out fast. My first pair wore out after three and a half months of climbing 2-3 times a week, plus an outdoor weekend. The walls at the gym are gritty, which doesn’t help.
This shoe took me by surprised. It's one of the more comfortable climbing shoes I've had. Unlike other aggressive shoes, the Tourque LV is comfortable enough to keep on during entire sessions without needing to take them off. It's durable, holds up well to repeated indoor use, and is a solid choice for climbers seeking precision and comfort. It's well worth the investment and I would highly recommended it to other climbers.
