I have been using the main street shoe for almost a year now. As they have phased that out of rei, I decided to try the street shoe. It's a very good shoe, the sizing guide is spot on. Like the main street shoe, I don't need to break these in. They fir perfect immediately.
I have been wearing So ill shoes for the past few years now. I climb in the v6-7 range, primarily indoor bouldering. I have a very low profile heel, and finding an aggressive shoe without a lot of dead space in the heel has been tricky. I’ve found The Street shoe does the best job of eliminating that extra space. They are also comfy right out of the box - very minimal break in is needed.
I wear a women’s size 8 shoe, and find that these climbing shoes fit nice and tight at size 8. I probably couldn’t go much smaller without my toes curling in on themselves.
Overall I really love this shoe, and recently stocked up while they were on sale.
Aside from the shoe fit, my communication with the company has also been great. My recent order was stolen shortly after being delivered. I was super sad and reached out about filing a claim with FedEx. I fully expected to be at a loss (obviously not their fault that the package was stolen) and was not expecting such kind and helpful communication! Im super grateful that I get to support a company that is willing to help their customers so much. :)

love the shoes
Really like the look of the shoe fits a bit tighter than I expected but still breaking them in. Have about 20 hours climbing in them. Wear a 11.5 ordered a 13. For the discounted price really can’t complain great value for the money. Would buy again.
My first pair is 7.5, it was pain to break in. I order the same size this time, but found it fits my foot on first session. Maybe I need to downsize next time.

The unique collaboration of designer Boris Bidjan Saberi - a climber for 30+ years, and climbing legend Fred Nicole resulted in an incredibly soft shoe that meets the creators unique demands of high design and maximum performance. Boris partnered with Salomon beginning in 2016 and has continued to collaborate with the brand to design/develop high end pieces. Half German and half Persian, Boris’ biographical factors play a fundamental role in his formation: combining dual systems such as West/Middle East traditions and form/formless garments with a passion for numerology. A thin midsole is included to provide support/structure while the single piece outsole is fitted with a proprietary rubber that creates an incredible combination of resilience and friction resulting in support and sensitivity. Roam Rigid

- Designed and built on a hand-shaped, downturned last by Fred Nicole, ROAM Rigid is a semi-stiff slipper developed with Jason Momoa as part of the So iLL x On The Roam collection. ROAM Rigid features a three-way stretch knit entry with an elastic band stitched to a durable, comfortable, unlined vegan microsuede upper. This shoe is tensioned from under the toe to the back of the heel while the laser etched rand generates tension as well. The midsole is composed of a thin proprietary fiberboard with a center cut out for the flexibility/edging. The outsole is split and outfitted with Vibram XS Grip Rubber which extends in a wide band to the top of the heel. ROAM Rigid is ideal for all types of angles and perfect for those who like a sensitive slipper with a little more support (than ROAM Soft). This shoe is also more adaptable to sport climbing with good edging and great heel/toe hooking abilities. It is, perhaps, the best shoe in our lineup, to date, for edging overall.

- Designed and built on a hand-shaped, downturned last by Fred Nicole, TORQUE LV features a durable and comfortable, unlined vegan microsuede upper with an elastic integrated tongue and pulltab. The shape of the toe is ideal for precise footwork. The rubber is thick enough to feel stable but thin enought to maintain sensitivity. The fishhook midsole is composed of a proprietary pressed fiberboard. The unique single strap velcro closure gives you the freedom to change the direction of tension from ankle to mid-foot area to the base of the forefoot. The outsole is split and features Vibram XS GRIP rubber for durability while including generous toe/heel rubber coverage. The heel rubber extends to the top of the shoe. The unique width of the heel rubber enables this are to have the perfect balance of rigidity for maintaining solid heel hooks while allowing sensitivity and just enough flex.
