We’ve spent the last two years (and maybe a little longer) concepting, designing, and sampling with Fred Nicole and Jae Jung – true climbing shoe heroes and experts in the field.
Factory visits during line production and frequent, in-depth communication with our manufacturers were imperative to ensure all the details were there.
It was important to get the technical aspects spot on whether you’re climbing indoors, competing, or out in the elements. Our new shoes models have endured rigorous testing from indoor and outdoor climbers.
High performance Vibram XS GRIP climbing rubber is great for long wearing grip, good shape stability, edging, durability, and excellent performance in all around climbing conditions.
Shoes fit like no other! Feel amazing on the wall. Very tight fit though personally. Went a size and a half up for it to feel normal/tight still
Having use the regular Stay for almost a year I give a try to the LV variant and wow, feels a little bit tighter for sure but in a good way, perfect fit and feeling. Great very soft and comfortable shoe for long sessions.
Well constructed shoe, though I wish they fit better. Originally ordered my street shoe size per recommendation on the site and could not get my foot in the shoe. I exchanged for a full size up. They are still too small, but not going to exchange again. Will see if they fit a fellow climber since the construction is pretty great.
This is the best shoe I have ever used in the over 30 years that I have been climbing! Superior edging and hooking for sport climbing! I have not tried them for Trad, but for some limited sections of sport where there was mixed face and crack climbing they performed extremely well. I'm not sure that I would chose to use them for multi pitch crack climbing, but if I had no choice I would feel confident to use them for a 2 pitch multi pitch trad climb. A perfect fit LV low volume aka women's shoe, as I find other brands still have too much space or air in the heel of their LV shoes. I know that SoiLL recommends to order street size for advanced climbers but I ordered 1/2 size down, and it still fits perfectly for me, as if they used my foot as the model to create Stay LV climbing shoe. I just recently ordered my second pair as a back up. The ones I am currently climbing in I purchased over a year and a half ago and they have held their form. It took me a long time trying several other brands/styles after my old favorite shoe from a different company was discontinued, and I'm so happy to have found SoiLL Stay LV!
