Honestly even though I have really sweaty hands, I prefer the consistency and stickiness of the pure more than black. Going based off of the chalk guide I would say the black should've worked better for me, but after using the pure I love it even more. Everyone's hands are different, but definitely follow that guide for a good baseline in figuring out which blend or chalk would be best for you! Overall, this and the black are the best chalk I've ever used. Give them a try for sure!

This is the softest, fluffiest, finest chalk I've ever used. Just a small amount is necessary to cover your hands and ensure great grip on the wall.

Okay, this is a review from my 14 old twin boys whom are both competitive rock climbers and who beg me to buy this chalk. I am always looking for unique or new rock climbing items for them for the holiday's . I purchased this chalk for them for Christmas and now they are hooked.
They told me " It's the best chalk I have ever used" (Nathaniel) and "This chalk is SICK" (Wyatt) and they have used quite a few brands. They ask for it for birthday, Christmas , and if they run out before competitions. I am just their buyer and I would say from what they say about it, it's worth the purchase.

I used to uses different chalk because I thought I liked grittier chalk because all the fine chalk I had used before just turned to paste on my hand, but this chalk doesn’t. This is my new favorite chalk.

This is the best chalk I’ve ever used in my entire time climbing, all of my climbing buddies ask if they can borrow my chalk because they love it!

I believe it's made partially from asteroids and rainbows because I get all this out-of-this-world strength when I use it. Really though, its super fine, smells GREAT, and works like a charm. This chalk + the Street shoes = a proper session full of sends.
