I thought I couldn’t get better than the original streets. Comfy, top notch climbing shoes with tacky rubber and aggressive hooks. How could it get any better?! How about my favorite she in my favorite color?!!! I was worried about the low volume tag. That these wouldn’t fit me. I wear size 11 street shoes and 12.5’s in the OG streets. I could also do a 12 in them. The sizing chart told me to go 2 sizes up as a man for a tight fit. I took a chance on the 12.5 lv’s and could not have asked for a better fit. Both of these will become staples of my gear for years to come provided you keep making them. If you do decide to stop( maybe you just go crazy) send me an email so I can buy up as much as possible in my sizes. Thank you So ILL.
I have super narrow feet and the Street LVs are the first pair I’ve ever owned that truly fit well. They’re soft, light, comfortable enough, and aggressive enough too. I wear them indoor bouldering and even for outdoor sport routes. Love these shoes.
I was a bit unsure that ordering 2 sizes up from my street shoe would work (as your sizing guide perfectly suggests for men's sizes) but the fit was uncanny! These shoes are so well molded to your foot and the rubber so soft (resilient) and sticky that they felt as if I had been climbing with them for months on their first outing. Felt confident and gotta say the color is just cool... Velcro straps give a good range of options for when you need to cinch down for serious work...
The Street LV shoes have a nice hard bottom which allows you to toe exceptionally hard into small footholds. I bought my pair a half a size downsized for a really snug fit to ensure I could climb some more of the medium challenging boulders. The color way on this shoe has almost become iconic and representative of So iLL. Almost anyone will recognize these shoes because of the colors and split design. The rubber has held up great through normal gym climbing as well as outdoor climbing. The only downsides I have to mention about this shoe is that the breathability is low (can get sweaty) and if you do have a slight downsize, consider taking a shoe break after every climb or two, as the downturn prevents it from being comfortable if worn for an extended period of time. Also note that the stitching on the pull tabs in the heel area, which are intended to help you put the shoes on, can sometimes dig into your Achilles tendon area or cause irritation and be uncomfortably. Other than that, everything about this shoe is an excellent purchase and that's coming from someone who owns every pair of So iLL shoes.
• STREET LV •
The split, "dipped" seafoam green and black style of the Street LV goes above and beyond any previous shoe design. The Street LV features a thin padded tongue, matching split color Dark Matter rubber, and soft, sensitive fit.
Advanced LV Features
The Street LV last has been altered to accommodate narrower feet while maintaining the look and feel of The Streets. An ultra thin midsole provides a softer more sensitive fit, creating an extremely lightweight aggressive climbing shoe.
