Necessity is the mother of invention. When there was little climbing to be had, we started inventing. It began with an alternative take on climbing holds. These were not the shapes that you encountered at the crag...the shapes that everyone else was doing. Rather, these shapes were oddities, something that gave way to the weirdness that made the climbing community so attractive.
Outset Labs is an invitation back to the peculiar...back to the things that don't make sense on paper, but just seem worth doing.
