Picked this up to install in my office so I can use it throughout days I'm working from home. It's fantastic. Easier on my skin than other hangboards that I have and practically looks like a piece of furniture.

This thing is great! So iLL had it at the most affordable price online and FREE shipping (take that Amazon). Shipped super fast and we've been having hang sessions ever since. The holds are great for every level and we're excited to progress to the more difficult levels. The jugs on top are perfect for pull-ups too.

I am new to hangboarding so I opted for the BM 1000 over the 2000 and I’m happy with it. The jugs and deep edges are nice but there are still challenging thin edges for when I eventually get further along in my training.

These humble but methodical training devices are in every gym. What more can I say? Get one right away and start your journey to become a beast.

I've had a few training sessions under my belt with it now, and it's so nice not to have to go all the way to the gym to get a hangboard session in now. Other than that, what is there to say? The Beastmaker is a legend among hangboards. It's light, compact, and mounting it is a breeze. The texture of the wood is excellent. The apps for it make training simple if not easy. Feel the burn! This is an excellent hangboard well worth the money. As other reviews mentioned, the wood is nice on the skin and Non-marring like my previous poly board was. Looking forward to many sessions to come!

Like a lot of people, I got my first hangboard due to the quarantine. Beastmaker always makes it to the top of every hangboard review list, so of course when I saw that SO ILL had it in stock I had to get it. The board shipped instantly and came in perfect condition. I set it up in my pantry which is the perfect spot to gain motivation. I downloaded the beastmaker app to help me have structured sessions. The wood feels so nice on my hands and there is such a nice variety of edges, pockets, and slopers to choose from. It’s a great starter board as it’s not too difficult. There are really nice jugs and deep edges that I can warm up on, more difficult edges and pockets to practice on, and some killer slopers and edges to work my way up to. All around great purchase to help me maintain and improve my finger strength during these crazy times. This board lives up to the hype. Thanks, So ILL for providing!

It's been too many days to remember since I've last been able to climb. Quarantine has broken me... until Beastmaker 1000 arrived.

Coupled with the Beastmaker App (worth the $3-4), this hangboard mounted on my pull up bar has me feeling like Megos after eating a bundle of carrots. Fret not, long necked friends, I'm sure Ondra uses wooden holds to train too. You'll feel like a champ. The people's champ.

Move aside Honnold, after all this training, I'm going to set the speed record for free soloing the stair case.

(P.S. Hangboard training is hard and the Beastmaker App is brutal. Always warm-up your fingers, take rest days, and know when to back off.) Cheers!

I selected this hangboard because I read that the wood was easier in your hands than a synthetic material. I’m blown away by how true that turned out to be. It is slightly harder to grip, which isn’t really a negative because it only makes you work harder. The price was fair, as you definitely get what you pay for. The product had no blemishes or rough spots. I mounted it on a door mount from BlankSlateClimbing and it fit perfectly. Now I can easily put it up and take it down without putting holes in the wall.

I use it throughout the week and it truly strengthens your fingers. If you are new to fingerboards, I suggest to not start until you have been climbing for a while.

I did a lot of research on hangboards and ultimately purchased this one. I am satisfied with it as it was easy to install and to use, the wood is super smooth so it won’t give you any sprinters or cuts. Great product to increase in finger strength training!

Great feel and a variety of holds! The app is also wonderful for workouts. Overall, a great product and one that I would buy again. There are several cheap knockoffs available online but the quality is not the same. For example, the wood on my board is consistent and free of knots.

Has everything I need to train and some, and my max Is 5.12a/b currently. There’s a good variety of edges and pockets, and I really like the jugs because I am working towards one arm pull-ups, and the jugs allow for good offsets as a beginner/intermediate climber.
