Brand new to climbing, normal gym rentals are not comfortable at all, but these are really great. Definitely feel like they have a good grip! Wore them for two hours straight the first day and they were comfortable the whole time. I wear a 10-11 depending on the shoe brand. Got these in 10.5 and they're perfect.
I bought these to break in my feet on my home wall after 8 months of pandemic induced non-climbing.
They are soft, roomy, and exactly what I need in my garage for now, before getting aggressive shoes back on again
Purchased this shoe about three months ago and they are perfect for beginners. They are very similar to shoes you would rent if you went to a climbing gym with better grip and obviously much easier on the eyes. I have gotten a lot of compliments ;)
When I got this shoe I was a V3/5.10 climber max but now I climb V4/5.11 frequently and have done some easier V5s. I am true size 9 mens so I bought these shoes the same but wish I had gone smaller (maybe 8.5/8). My friends who are much better than me wear shoes that are a size down from their shoe size and now I understand why - when my feet get sweaty I can feel the shoe slip against my skin on small footholds which I feel limits my ability on some climbs. I am now looking to purchase shoes with a stiffer rubber sole and tighter upper foot support. However, If you are just getting into climbing and looking for your first pair of shoes this is a solid and stylish choice to go with - I'll definitely still use them when I'm warming up or at the end of a session!
These shoes are super comfortable and beginner friendly. They have decently stiff toe box and they feel like socks
Excellent comfy shoes. Love them.
