These are the first climbing shoes I ever had and I could not have made a better choice.
As a beginner climber I was quite hesitant to buy my first pair and overwhelmed by the general market. After lending shoes at my local bouldering gym and trying different brands that way I was still as lost as before.
The beautiful design, company, collaboration and sheer passion that went into this shoe drew me to it and after a bit of back and forth I finally got my pair and am more than happy. They fit as expected, look awesome and have all the characteristics I, as a beginner, was looking for on the wall.
I highly recommend these.
I am about 5'10" (178cm) and weigh about 165lbs (73kg) with average feet 9,5 US (43 EU) I bought the Momoa Pro half a size up. It fits very tightly at the moment but should be on point once worn in. I think for the unsure a full size up should be a good call. While going for street size should be left for those seeking a very tight fit.
I love the moderate camber on these shoes, not to mention the style! The crossover strap on top provides great security, while still being flexible. These are a new fav, but I did decide to exchange for a size up.
I bought these as a replacement for the soill runners that have been my gym shoes the last couple years. I think they are awesome! The rubber is great and the Velcro strap is a nice design and provides more of a custom fit.
I wear a 6.5 in regular shoes and size 7 in soill shoes.
I have wide feet and long toes so I was kinda doubting about the size but overall, it's perfect! I wear shoes, street size 8(US)/38(EU). I read some reviews that So iLL shoes are a little tighter than other climbing shoes, so I ordered W10/ M8.5 size of shoes(2 sized up) and it fits perfectly!
The color is more pinkish than the picture on the website. It's not like ballerina toe-shoes pink. (I'd say it's like dusty-pink color)
It is one strap climbing shoe but the two strong velcro on the side of the shoes holding tight my feet. It's comfortable with socks or without the sock, both, and the design is beautiful enough to steal a beginner's heart, like me.
My partner told me about this brand and now he jealous of my new climbing shoes. lol I hope everybody enjoys climbing with So iLL! :)
Like many climbing shoes, they run small. I wear a street size 8.5 in women shoes. I usually wear a 10 in flat climbing shoes, but I need a 10.5 in these.
