Jason Momoa x SoILL collaborated is a synonymous of excellence, quality and sustainability. I am a fan of artists who pour love into their craft, and this is a great example of it. Mahalo
After going through my first pair of these, I humbly tried a few other brand shoes that others suggested, even though let’s be serious there is no prettier climbing shoe than these. I gave the others a solid month, and then promptly reordered these. Initially it took a bit to get the sizing right, but honestly I probably won’t ever wear another shoe again. I have a high arch & narrow feet & these are the dream ballerina shoes for my ballerina feet, lol. Pretty well known in the gym by my shoes alone, so not for someone who doesn’t want to have a million conversations about how cute your shoes are ;)
I've been climbing in the Momoa Pro since it was released. I just recently switched to the LV/Low Volume version. I typically wear a men's size 9.0 shoe and have narrow feet. After climbing in these, I prefer the LV version for my narrow foot. The area where you will notice the narrow fit the most is on the top of your foot between the origin of the strap and the toe rubber(the dosal/plantar dimension of the metatrasaophalangeal joints). I love the flat last for all day comfort and the high tension heel for secure heel lock down. I typically climb in the gym for 4.0 hours. The only spot on my foot that gets tender towards the end of a session is the top edge of the heel on my Achilles tendon. These have tons of Dark Matter rubber to give you grip at all points in any direction.
These are so awesome! I’m fairly new at climbing but can definitely feel the difference between these and a pair of rentals. They look and feel awesome and I definitely feel the eyes looking considering you don’t see many SoILL products here in New Zealand. Here’s a little action shot starting a V3.
So Ill makes the best looking shoes on the market, no questions asked. Once you find the perfect fit, you'll notice the comfort. No seams, rough material or anything against your toes which feels amazing. The rubber is nice and tacky, gripping as needed. These are a win all the way around.
