I bought these for my girlfriend who decided to take up climbing and she loves them. She noted the clear difference she feels with them on and it has noticeably increased her confidence with sticking. The color is more a champagne pink and not too bold, which looks so crisp and clean in real life. If I wasn’t so in love with the fit of my all black the streets I would probably try these out myself.
These shoes seem awesome! I am a guy and really wanted a pair of the metallic ones, but they only had the rose gold left. I was a little skeptical that it would be too pink, but couldn't pass up the deal. When getting them in the mail I was so stoked! The shoes weren't as pink as online, which was great for me. I think they reflect the colors around them, so if you put it in an area with more pinks and reds, they'd probably appear more pink.
I have not climbed with these YET!
Just putting them on in my house, they seem to fit well. I sized my feet for the performance fit, so they're tight. I wear a size 10 street shoe and got a size 12 in these. The downturned toe feels really nice. I read a lot of bad reviews on reddit about these, and I don't agree with them. The shoes are light but feel like they're built really well. The length of the shoes is great, but I might feel like there is room above my foot and possibly in my heel. I haven't climbed with them yet though, so I'll come back here and update you again. The straps can get the shoes pretty tight, so hopefully this isn't a problem. Some may say the straps are long, but they have stitching patterns that let you cut the length to fit your desire. I've also seen complaints that the sizing is weird and people have to take their shoes off between climbs. I think this is personal preference and is a moot point because you want your shoes very tight. I wear shoes right now that have molded to my feet after months, and I still take them off between climbs. It's just a part of climbing, and people are being over critical.
Great shoe. Great company. Take hold and climb on.
I love these shoes! They hold great on the wall and they have a stylish look. I had to order 2.5 sizes up from my normal shoe size, and the left shoe still feels a little tight. I'm hoping once they break in that won't be the case anymore
I didn’t really need a new pair of climbing shoes, I own the pink free range lv of so ill. But since there was a great deal for this I couldn’t really pass on the opportunity to grab it! It’s not as aggressive as the free range lv, but it’s still really good performance wise! Besides it’s one heck of really cute and awesome pair of climbing shoes compare to the other brands! Bonus is that you really do get a lot of compliments for owning so ill!! I am now a loyal customer of this brand!
The sizing recommendations are spot on. Thank you, So iLL for that!
I am an intermediate climber and have had the same shoes for 3 years. This is my first really aggressive pair and I was nervous they would be too aggressive because I spend most of my climbing time outdoors and on long climbs where I really like my comfortable shoes. These are obviously less comfortable than my previous pair of shoes, but after a few climbs in them, I broke them in a little(or maybe they broke my feet in? ;)) and was really impressed with how comfortable they actually are! I am also so stoked about their performance! They fit me perfectly and stick to the wall better than any other shoes I have tried.
The Tokyo Streets are crafted with a brilliant metallic rose gold upper and equipped with a thin padded tongue. The low volume last and larger buckles give the tightening system power and sensitivity to mold the soft shoe to a narrower foot profile.
An ultra thin midsole provides a softer more sensitive fit, creating an extremely lightweight aggressive climbing shoe. The toe box has been masterfully crafted to allow for a higher level of comfort and works conjunctively with the perfect amount of tension in the heel.
