I love my Tokyo Streets! Not only do I get compliments on them everytime I wear them at the gym, but they are my more aggressive climbing shoe. I can trust them when needing to grip on smaller holds or even smearing on the wall! Great shoes!
I’ve bought two pairs of these now. I love them!
Got these for my little crusher wifey and she looks like a queen.
Originally got a 6 but they were too small. Very cool of Soill to do the first exchange free.
Definitely picked these out because they 1.) are pretty darn aggressive and 2.) are the baby pink princess slippers of my dreams. I’d be totally lying if I claimed that style wasn’t a factor here.
With that being said, I’m really impressed with the downturn on overhang and roof climbs, the rubber does great indoors and outdoors (even in warm weather), and they also perform really well on limestone sport routes (think tiny chips and mono pockets).
The Tokyo Streets were my first pair of So iLL climbing shoes and they did not disappoint. I constantly get compliments at the gym and the crag on the shoes, but don't let their stylish design fool you, they're more than just a nice pair of kicks to stare at. As with my Street LVs, I've climbed regularly in the gym and outside with the Tokyo Streets and their performance did not falter. The shoes do feel slightly more stiffer than the Street LVs, but not substantially to the point where they're unbearable to wear.
The Tokyo Streets are crafted with a brilliant metallic rose gold upper and equipped with a thin padded tongue. The low volume last and larger buckles give the tightening system power and sensitivity to mold the soft shoe to a narrower foot profile.
An ultra thin midsole provides a softer more sensitive fit, creating an extremely lightweight aggressive climbing shoe. The toe box has been masterfully crafted to allow for a higher level of comfort and works conjunctively with the perfect amount of tension in the heel.
