I have had the Iron Palm for a few months now and mounted it in the shop. It is phenomenal and varied enough to keep it interesting. I love the big palm slopers and find the pinchers to be torturous - but in a good way! I ordered a random color and am stoked for this bright red/orange color. VERY, very happy. Thanks, SoiLL, this thing is legit!
Absolutely love this. I can't get to the gym as often as I'd like, so this has made all the difference in helping keep my hand strength up and just makes me happy to have something resembling the climb. It's great practice, a good workout, and just fun if climbing is your thing.
Highly recommended.
I'm a V3 climber who's just started for about half a year. With all the gyms closed due to COVID, I was desperate to keep my fingers in shape. I found the So iLL Iron Palm hangboard and was immediately intrigued and ordered the colour of my choosing (dark grey).
Having tried the Beastmasters and other hangboards at my gym, I have to say the Iron Palm is relatively accessible and perfect for my needs as it allows me to easily train all sorts of different holds with its extremely rough surface texture and the variety of grips.
The edges are great - the big jug hold at the top is a nice-to-have, but the three below it are great for someone at my level to train my crimping strength.
