Followed the sizing guide. At first I couldn’t even put my foot in the shoe and thought I should’ve gone up a half size but once I got in and had a miserable few sessions it def stretched out and now very nice and comfortable. Street shoe size 8 and went with a 8.5.
Been wearing this shoe for 2 weeks now. It lived up to the reviews and is my go to bouldering shoe now. I sized between their 2 men's sizing recommendations based on some reviews that the shoe could be too tight. However, I did not find that to be the case and would recommend sticking to the smaller sizing recommendation if you're not sure.
I am constantly on the lookout for that special shoe that is perfect for me, and I think I have found it. I have been wearing this shoes 3-4 days a week for a year now (on my second pair) and I can't say enough praise for these shoes.
As with any climbing shoe, sizing is KEY! Read and follow the SoiLL sizing recommendations, this is not a beginner shoe and needs to be tight so it can hold tension (to big and its about as useful as a flip flop on rock walls).
Soft, this is by far the softest shoe I have ever worn, it feels like a sock (you have to size it right to make sure the shoe is tight enough to hold tension).
Dark Matter Rubber - no other rubber brand can compare, this is the softest, stickiest rubber out there (downside it does wear pretty quickly).
I would recommend you go a half or a whole size up from your street size depending on how snug you like it.
They’re a bit tough to get on. But once you do, you’ll be surprised at how comfortable they are for an aggressive shoe. I mostly use them when I boulder, but have put them through the ringer on ropes as well. Just bought my second pair!
This is the first pair of semi-aggressive shoes I've ever worn. I was really nervous about the fit, but the super soft upper conformed to every curve of my foot without creating any pressure points. The soft rubber made a huge difference in the precision of my foot placement too. I feel confident on the smallest footholds on slab or overhang.
